FUNDING PRIORITIES
There are a number of areas where funding and support are needed. Please peruse the categories below to help decide where your contribution might best align our needs with your interests.
Renewable Scholarships
Ceiba scholars are more than 95% Latino and almost exclusively first generation college-bound. The Ceiba Public Schools Foundation awards 10 scholarships to each graduating class to help cover the costs associated with tuition, room and board, transportation, books, and more.
To date, 65 students have received a scholarship, totaling more than $120,000!
Experiential Learning
Ceiba provides trips and experiences to all scholars across the grade levels that are designed to spark an early and continued interest in college matriculation. From annual tours of California colleges to the East Coast College Tour, we help our scholars to see themselves in a variety of settings both near and far.
Talent
Ceiba needs talented teachers and staff that are willing to go above and beyond. Our staff and teachers have a non-traditional workday and extended hours not found in traditional educational settings. Contributions will be used to secure the best talent for our students and support classroom efforts designed to deliver real-world curriculum and instruction.
